...Ah! thanks guys , the offers are all outstanding!

Colorado sounds great - would love to encounter how the other side lives in the "first world"! Will have to do some major exams to come and work in Colorado though! I need to investigate further though... I think my passion lies somewhere between Internal Medicine and Dermatology and Emergency Medicine.Maybe. Although I'm attracted to the dermatology lifestyle , I fear I might be bored out of my skull after a few years...Private practice is an option in SA, and quite an attractive one.

AS for India - we are definitely coming over if not to specialise then definitely for holidaying purposes! Thanks for the heads up about monsoon season!Dr S.https://www.blogger.com/profile/17841252320450369002noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5786273921656223197.post-23307886952978737672009-05-11T14:57:00.000+02:002009-05-11T14:57:00.000+02:00This comment has been removed by the author.Dr S.https://www.blogger.com/profile/17841252320450369002noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5786273921656223197.post-29209186671368931582009-05-10T22:28:00.000+02:002009-05-10T22:28:00.000+02:00You've got many years left of ovary-time. What's ...You've got many years left of ovary-time. What's your passion in medicine? You seem to enjoy your day-to-day encounters as long as they aren't maddening. If you stayed a generalist, is private practice an option in SA? Otherwise, come to Colorado and join our practice!denverdochttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09574453567392165275noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5786273921656223197.post-55300403518253904972009-05-10T20:55:00.000+02:002009-05-10T20:55:00.000+02:00Am extremely sorry for all those typos. That's what it takes in India. But selection ratio is 1:40 MBBS doctors!

If you're really keen on visiting India, avoid months june to september, 'cuz it'd monsoon reason here, and you never know when your plans would be washed down the drain!

And recession hasn't affected all the engineers, managers and accountants in South Africa? It's badly affected things in India at least. That way you're safe.

Anyway, enjoyed reading your blog, and all the best with your decision-making!

TC.Ketanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02622410643454108685noreply@blogger.com
